Rajasthan, India’s largest state by land area, is known as the “Land of Kings”. It’s a diverse state with a varied topography, climate, flora, and fauna:
- Topography: The Aravalli Range runs through Rajasthan from southwest to northeast, dividing the state into different regions. The western part is relatively dry and infertile, while the east is more fertile. Rajasthan is also home to the Great Indian Thar Desert and the Chambal River, which supplies water to the region.
- Climate: Rajasthan has a diverse climate, ranging from arid to sub-humid monsoon, with highly unequal rainfall distribution. The Tropic of Cancer passes through the state’s Banswara district on its way south.
- Flora and fauna: Rajasthan has a diverse range of plants and animals.
- Lakes: Rajasthan has both saline and freshwater lakes.
Day 1 : Train journey to Jaisalmer
Meet and Greet at 12:15 AM from Bandra Terminus and start your journey towards Jaisalmer.
- Train Halts at Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Surat & Vadodara.
- Say Hi to your fellow Rajasthan Backpackers and Spend your day in Train playing some Ice breaking Games with your trip Buddies.
Day 2 : Jaisalmer Sightseeing
Reach Jaisalmer by 09:00 AM & proceed towards Sam Desert. stay for tonight. - In the evening enjoy Camel Ride, Desert Safari & Cultural Show.

Day 3 : Jaisalmer Sightseeing – Overnight Journey to Udaipur
Have an Early morning breakfast.
- Explore the Golden City, including Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon ki Haweli, Moti Mahal & Gadisar Lake.
- Later have dinner
- Leave for an overnight journey to Udaipur.
Day 4 : Udaipur Sightseeing
- Reach Udaipur Early Morning ( Early Check-in subject to availability)
- Today, we step out to visit the City Palace of Udaipur, Fateh Sagar Lake and Lake Pichola.
- In the evening you are free to explore markets – Hathi Pol / Baapu Bazaar for Souvenir’s
- Overnight in Udaipur
Day 5 : Udaipur – Pushkar
After breakfast, check-out & leave for our next stop which is Pushkar
- Later, in the evening reach Pushkar check-in into the Hotel & Get Ready to welcome 2025 with a Bang.
- Dress up for the DJ Night. That’s how we welcome 2025 with a bang! O/N Pushkar.
Day 6: Pushkar Sightseeing – Jaipur
After breakfast, leave for sightseeing which includes Pushkar Lake. Surrounded by 52 bathing ghats (a flight of steps leading to the water and over 500 temples)
- We then visit Brahma Temple – One of very few existing temples dedicated to the Hindu creator- God Brahma.
- Later, have dinner & leave for Jaipur.
- Reach Jaipur Late Evening.
Day 7 : Jaipur Sightseeing
- After breakfast, we leave for for Jaipur Local Sightseeing. ( Jaipur also known as Pink City).
- We will visit Hawa Mahal & Jantar Mantar.
- Then we will visit the beautiful attraction of Jaipur – Amer. Fort- The 3rd Largest Wall in the World.
- Later we will visit City Palace of Jaipur one of the most popular and historic tourist spot.
- In the evening you are free to explore the streets of Jaipur.
- Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 8 : Departure froJaipur
No wake up calls today!
- Wake up according to your comfort have breakfast and we check out from our hotel.
- By afternoon, we reunite at 12:00 PM to board our train back to Mumbai!
Day 9 : Back to Mumbai
06:55am – Back to Real Life but this time back with the best of memories, extended family, laughter, experiences and cool photographs to cherish about!

Train Meals
- (We will explore local cuisines on the way for lunch & one can expect Rs 100-150/- per meal)
- Rafting, Paragliding, Safari, Camera, Movie camera and Vehicle Charges where the company’s vehicle is not available are not included in the tour cost.
- Entry fees at any palace/ monuments/ forts/ sightseeing points.
- Any Personal expenses.
- Extra food & drinks ordered, Tips, Laundry, Shopping, etc.
Anything not mentioned above in the Inclusions.
If you are a college student, do carry your College ID Card, at a few places you can avail discount on student ID.
- Standard check-in for hotels: 12 noon and check-out by 10:00 AM. Early check-in is subject to availability.
- At some sightseeing destinations, buses are allowed only to the parking area and participants have to walk to the monument or hire local transport on their own.
- Cost arising out of any event beyond our control like strikes, bandh, riots, train cancellations, flight cancellations, mechanical breakdown, or natural calamities like heavy rainfall, snowfall, landslides, and earthquakes will be directly borne by the participants.
- We haven’t included lunch since most of the time we will be out exploring the places at Lunch time. we will be exploring local Dhaba, cafes, eateries, etc one can expect 100-150/- per meal.
- The Bucketlister won’t be responsible if any sightseeing/ activity gets cancelled due to natural calamities or man-made incidents.
- Guests would be responsible for safety of their luggage/ baggage throughout the trip.
- If the trip gets cancelled due to any event beyond our control or lockdown, a nominal cancellation fee of 8% will be charged and guests will get a credit note of the remaining amount they paid, which can be used anytime in the near future.
It’s a Backpacking trip and not a luxury trip, and this is how we will be able to fully taste the culture and enjoy the fullest. - There will be no Room service, Laundry, Luxary hotels, Room heaters, etc. This backpacking trip is planned to experience the local & feel the Himalayas to the fullest.
- Train ticket bookings usually starts from 4 months before the departure dates. So there are chances the tickets will be in RAC/ Waiting if you book the tour late. Please check the ticket status with us at the time of booking, you might have to pay bit extra to get a confirm seats according to availibility, if tickets are not available.
- Do not carry Suitcases or heavy luggage, a good Backpack is recommended and would be comfortable to carry.
Out of the second and final instalment paid, cancellation fees will be:
25% if cancelled before 20 days of the trip.
50% if cancelled before 15 days of the trip.
70% if cancelled before 05 days of the trip.
90% if cancelled before 02 days of the trip.
100% if cancelled before 01 days of the trip
